Overview
Muryn works without an account, advertising, cross-app tracking, or a Muryn-operated backend. Sleep and Focus data remains on your device. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase history for entitlement validation and aggregate purchase analytics. Core playback works offline after installation.
Information stored on your device
To restore your experience, Muryn stores Focus routines, explicit session outcomes, optional worked-for-me feedback, accepted Work Arc adjustments, favorites, saved custom mixes and layer volumes, a short recently played history, the last played environment, timer and fade choices, onboarding state, and app preferences locally on your device.
Muryn does not calculate a productivity score or infer a medical or cognitive condition. Local Work Arc suggestions use only the explicit outcomes above, remain optional, and never change a routine without your acceptance.
This information is not transmitted to PRIZM. You can remove it in Muryn by opening Settings and choosing Delete local Muryn data. Removing the app also removes its local app data according to iOS behavior.
Purchases
Muryn uses RevenueCat with Apple StoreKit to offer and verify the optional Muryn Pro lifetime purchase. RevenueCat receives an automatically generated anonymous app user ID and purchase history to validate the purchase, restore access, prevent purchase fraud, and provide aggregate purchase analytics. Muryn does not send RevenueCat your Sleep data, Focus data, contact details, advertising identifier, or payment-card details. Apple processes payment and Apple Account information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Deleting local Muryn data does not cancel or erase a purchase held by Apple. Restore Purchases can recover verified access while you are signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Permissions and device information
Muryn does not request access to location, microphone, photos, contacts, Health data, or notifications. The app contains no advertising or cross-app tracking code. RevenueCat is the only third-party SDK; automatic device-identifier collection and RevenueCat diagnostics are disabled.
Children
Muryn does not knowingly collect contact, health, or other directly identifying information from children or any other user. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase history as described above.
Changes to this policy
If Muryn’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date at the top identifies this version.
