By downloading, installing, or using PuttLevel ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PuttLevel for personal purposes, subject to these Terms.

You May:

• Measure putting green slope using your device's accelerometer
• Read break direction in degrees and cup equivalents
• Calibrate the camera bump offset for your device
• Zero the sensor for relative slope readings

You May NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack or compromise the App's security
• Resell the App or its features
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Circumvent premium feature restrictions

3. Free vs. Pro Features

3.1 Free Features

The free version of PuttLevel includes:

• Real-time slope reading in degrees
• Attitude indicator visualization
• Camera bump calibration
• Zero offset adjustment
• 7 languages supported

3.2 Pro Features (One-Time Purchase)

Pro users get:

• Cup conversion readings (break direction in cups)
• All future premium features included

4. In-App Purchase Terms

4.1 Purchase Option

• PuttLevel Pro: One-time purchase for permanent Pro access

Price may vary by region and is subject to change without notice.

4.2 Purchase Terms

• This is a one-time purchase, NOT a subscription
• Pro purchase is permanent and does not expire
• No automatic renewals or recurring charges
• Purchases are tied to your Apple ID
• You can restore purchases on other devices using the same Apple ID
• Pro access works on all your devices with the same Apple ID
• Purchase management is handled by RevenueCat on behalf of the App

4.3 Refund Policy

• All purchases are processed by Apple and are final
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies
• To request a refund, contact Apple Support: https://support.apple.com
• We cannot process refunds directly

5. Your Content and Data

5.1 Ownership of Data

You retain full ownership of all data generated using PuttLevel, including:

• Slope measurement results
• Calibration settings

We do NOT claim any rights to your data. Your measurements are private and belong entirely to you.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use your measurement data. We make no guarantees about the absolute accuracy of measurements, as results depend on device hardware and environmental conditions.

6. Privacy and Data Storage

PuttLevel is designed with privacy as a priority:

• Local Storage: Calibration and app data are stored locally on your device
• On-Device Processing: All accelerometer analysis is performed locally on your device
• No Account Required: The app does not require login or account creation
• No Data Collection: We do not access or collect your measurement data
• Your Control: You can delete all data at any time

7. Permissions

PuttLevel requires the following permission to function:

• Motion & Fitness (Accelerometer): Required to measure surface slope and calculate break direction in degrees and cups

This permission is essential for the core functionality of PuttLevel. Without accelerometer access, the app cannot perform measurements. You can manage this permission in iOS Settings at any time.

You agree NOT to use PuttLevel for:

• Any illegal activities or purposes
• Attempting to circumvent Pro feature restrictions
• Interfering with the App's functionality
• Any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Use during sanctioned tournament play where electronic devices are prohibited

PuttLevel integrates with:

• Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
• Apple StoreKit: For purchase processing
• RevenueCat: For purchase and entitlement management
• Apple Accelerometer: For motion sensor access

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

PuttLevel is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Data preservation
• Accuracy of slope or cup readings

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases (if any)
• We are not responsible for loss of calibration data
• We are not responsible for device malfunction or iOS system errors
• We are not responsible for inaccurate measurements due to device hardware limitations
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on measurement results

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Posting the new Terms at this URL
• In-app notification for significant changes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PuttLevel if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the App or its features
• Use the App for illegal purposes

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App. All locally stored data will be removed upon uninstallation.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Korea.
