1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how PuttLevel ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information. It applies to the App and its one-time PuttLevel Pro purchase.

2. Data Processed on Your Device

The following data is processed and stored locally by the App:

• Motion sensor samples: Used in real time to derive cross-slope, along-slope, total slope, and downhill direction
• Held measurements and practice records: Saved on the device when you choose to record a putt result
• Calibration and settings: Stored in the App's local storage

We do not upload slope measurements, raw sensor samples, calibration values, putting history, or location data to our servers. The App does not require an account and does not include advertising or a general-purpose usage analytics SDK.

3. Purchase Information

PuttLevel Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes the payment through the App Store. RevenueCat helps the App validate the transaction, prevent purchase fraud, restore purchases, and determine whether Pro access is active.

For those purposes, RevenueCat may receive and retain:

• An automatically generated anonymous App User ID
• Purchase history, transaction details, and Apple receipt information
• Entitlement status and purchase-related events
• Limited device and technical information described in RevenueCat's privacy policy

The current App does not create user accounts, send RevenueCat a custom user ID, or set contact-information attributes. We do not receive your payment-card information, billing details, or Apple ID.

Accelerometer samples are processed in real time on the device. PuttLevel does not send raw sensor data to Apple, RevenueCat, or the developer.

6. Advertising and Tracking

PuttLevel does not show ads and does not use purchase or sensor data to track you across apps or websites for advertising. We have not enabled RevenueCat integrations that use advertising identifiers. If our practices change, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information.

7. Children's Privacy

PuttLevel does not require an account and is not designed to request names, email addresses, or other contact information from children. Purchase processing is still handled by Apple and RevenueCat as described above. If you believe a child has provided information to us directly, contact us so we can investigate the request.

8. Security and Retention

• Local app data: Calibration, settings, held measurements, and practice records remain until changed, deleted in the App, or the App is removed.
• Purchase data: Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their policies and legal obligations.
• Protection: Local data benefits from iOS app sandboxing and device security. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your Choices and Requests

• Recalibrate to replace the saved calibration value.
• Delete individual practice records or all practice records from the Practice screen.
• Remove the App to delete its locally stored settings, calibration, and practice records from the device.
• Use Restore Purchase to recover eligible Pro access associated with your App Store purchase.
• Manage App Store purchases and payment methods through your Apple account.
• Contact us about a privacy request concerning information under our control.

Removing the App does not erase transaction records retained by Apple or RevenueCat.

10. International Processing

Sensor and putting data remain on your device. Purchase information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat in countries where they or their service providers operate, subject to their privacy policies and safeguards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App or its service providers change. We will update the date above and publish the revised policy at this URL. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or release notes when appropriate.
