By downloading, installing, or using LookUp ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use LookUp for personal purposes, subject to these Terms.

You May:

• Create and manage scripts for teleprompter use
• Record videos while reading your scripts
• Use the teleprompter with auto-scroll feature
• Import scripts via paste, file, or voice input
• Save scripts for later use
• Save recorded videos to your device
• Customize text display settings (Pro)

You May NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack or compromise the App's security
• Resell the App or its features
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Circumvent premium feature restrictions

3. Free vs. Pro Features

3.1 Free Features

The free version of LookUp includes:

• Teleprompter with script display near camera lens
• Video recording with front camera
• 3-second countdown timer
• Basic auto-scroll
• Script input via paste
• Script input via file import
• Voice-to-text script input
• Save videos to photo library
• 7 languages supported

3.2 Pro Features (One-Time Purchase)

Pro users get:

• Adjustable scroll speed
• Customizable text size
• Multiple background styles (Blur, Dark, Light, Transparent)
• Saved scripts library
• All future premium features included

4. In-App Purchase Terms

4.1 Purchase Option

• LookUp Pro: One-time purchase for permanent Pro access

Price may vary by region and is subject to change without notice.

4.2 Purchase Terms

• This is a one-time purchase, NOT a subscription
• Pro purchase is permanent and does not expire
• No automatic renewals or recurring charges
• Purchases are tied to your Apple ID
• You can restore purchases on other devices using the same Apple ID
• Pro access works on all your devices with the same Apple ID

4.3 Refund Policy

• All purchases are processed by Apple and are final
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies

• We cannot process refunds directly

5. Your Content and Data

5.1 Ownership of Data

You retain full ownership of all content you create using LookUp, including:

• Scripts and text content
• Recorded videos
• Saved scripts

We do NOT claim any rights to your content. Your scripts and videos are private and belong entirely to you.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you create in LookUp. While your content is private, you agree not to use the App to create or store:

• Illegal content
• Content that violates others' rights
• Harmful, defamatory, or offensive content

6. Privacy and Data Storage

LookUp is designed with privacy as a priority:

• Local Storage: Scripts and app data are stored locally on your device
• No Third-Party Servers: We do NOT upload your scripts or videos to our servers
• No Account Required: The app does not require login or account creation
• No Data Collection: We do not read, access, or collect your script content
• Your Control: You can delete all data at any time

7. Permissions

LookUp requires the following permissions to function:

• Camera: Required to record videos with the teleprompter
• Microphone: Required to record audio with your videos, and for voice-to-text script input
• Photo Library: To save recorded videos to your device
• Speech Recognition: For voice-to-text script input feature

Camera and microphone permissions are essential for the core functionality of LookUp. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

You agree NOT to use LookUp for:

• Any illegal activities or purposes
• Creating illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempting to circumvent Pro feature restrictions
• Interfering with the App's functionality
• Any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

10. Third-Party Services

LookUp integrates with:

• Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
• Apple StoreKit: For purchase management and verification
• Apple Speech Recognition: For voice-to-text functionality
• Apple AVFoundation: For camera and video recording

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

LookUp is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Data preservation

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases (if any)
• We are not responsible for loss of scripts or data
• We are not responsible for device malfunction or iOS system errors
• We are not responsible for video recording failures
• We are not responsible for speech recognition accuracy

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Posting the new Terms at this URL
• In-app notification for significant changes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to LookUp if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the App or its features
• Use the App for illegal purposes

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App. Your local data will be deleted upon uninstallation.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Korea.
