This Privacy Policy explains how LookUp ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Key Point: LookUp is designed to work entirely offline. Your scripts and recordings never leave your device.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

LookUp does NOT collect:

• Your scripts or text content
• Your recorded videos
• Your voice or audio data
• Personal identification information
• Email addresses or contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Usage analytics or behavior data
• Browsing history

3. Data Storage

3.1 Local Storage Only

All your data is stored locally on your device:

• Scripts: Stored in the app's local storage
• App Settings: Stored locally (scroll speed, text size, etc.)
• Pro Status: Managed by Apple's StoreKit, stored locally
• Recorded Videos: Saved to your device's photo library (with your permission)

3.2 No Cloud Storage

LookUp does NOT:

• Upload your scripts to any server
• Store your videos on cloud services
• Sync data across devices via our servers
• Backup your data to external servers

4. Permissions We Request

LookUp requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality:

Important: Camera and microphone data is processed entirely on your device. We do not access, store, or transmit any camera or audio data.

5. Speech Recognition

LookUp offers voice-to-text functionality for script input:

• Uses Apple's Speech Recognition framework
• Voice data is processed by Apple according to their privacy policy
• We do NOT receive, store, or have access to your voice recordings
• This feature is optional and requires your explicit permission

6. In-App Purchases

LookUp Pro is available as a one-time purchase:

• Purchases are processed entirely by Apple
• We do NOT receive your payment information
• We do NOT have access to your Apple ID or billing details
• Purchase verification is handled locally via Apple's StoreKit

7. Third-Party Services

LookUp integrates with the following Apple services:

9. Data Security

Your data security is ensured by:

• Local Storage: Data never leaves your device
• No Network Transmission: Scripts and videos are not uploaded anywhere
• iOS Security: Data is protected by iOS's built-in security features
• App Sandboxing: Other apps cannot access LookUp's data

10. Your Rights and Controls

You have complete control over your data:

10.1 Access Your Data

• All your scripts are visible within the app
• Saved videos are in your Photos app

10.2 Delete Your Data

• Delete individual scripts within the app
• Delete videos from your Photos app
• Uninstall the app to remove all app data

10.3 Manage Permissions

• Go to iOS Settings > LookUp
• Enable or disable Camera, Microphone, Photos, Speech Recognition

11. Data Retention

• Scripts: Stored until you delete them or uninstall the app
• Videos: Stored in your Photos library until you delete them
• Settings: Stored until you uninstall the app

We do not retain any of your data on our servers because we do not have servers that store user data.

12. International Users

LookUp is available worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• No data is transferred internationally by us
• Your data remains on your device in your country
• Apple services may process data according to their policies

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top
• Posting the new policy at this URL
• In-app notification for significant changes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
