Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how KantanPDF (the “App”), provided by PRIZM_KR (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the App.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store the following on our servers:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials
• Your photos, scans, imported files, generated PDFs, presets, or document history
• Precise location, contacts, microphone recordings, or browsing history
• Advertising identifiers, analytics profiles, crash reports, or cross-app tracking data

KantanPDF does not require account registration and does not operate a cloud-sync service.

3. Data Handled on Your Device

Source images may be copied to the App’s temporary cache while you compose a PDF. Generated PDFs are saved in the App’s local documents directory. Processing occurs on your device and your document contents are not uploaded to us.

4. Permissions and System Pickers

You can change Camera and Photo Library permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Denying one permission does not prevent you from using other available import methods.

5. Purchases and Apple Services

KantanPDF offers a one-time, non-consumable Premium purchase through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes payment and may provide the App with product, transaction, receipt, and entitlement information required to complete or restore the purchase. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple ID password.

Purchase information is handled under Apple’s Privacy Policy. KantanPDF does not send purchase receipts to a developer-operated server and does not use RevenueCat.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. Your document contents are not shared by us. Information may leave the App only when:

• You choose a destination using the iOS Share Sheet, Files picker, printing interface, email, or another installed app;
• Apple processes an in-app purchase or purchase restoration; or
• Disclosure is required by applicable law.

A destination you select may handle the exported PDF under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Retention and Deletion

• Generated PDFs: Remain in the App’s local storage until you delete them using available controls or delete the App.
• Temporary source copies: May remain in the App cache until removed by the App or iOS.
• Preferences, presets, history, and usage state: Remain locally until changed, cleared where supported, or the App is deleted.
• Exported files: Remain wherever you chose to save or send them and must be deleted from that destination separately.
• Purchase records: Are retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies and legal obligations.

Because we do not maintain user accounts or a document server, we generally have no document data to retrieve or delete on your behalf.

8. Security

KantanPDF minimizes data exposure by processing documents locally and relying on the iOS app sandbox. No storage method is completely risk-free. You are responsible for controlling access to your device and for securely handling files after exporting or sharing them.

9. Children’s Privacy

KantanPDF is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the App has no accounts, public profiles, advertising, chat, or social features.

10. International Users

The App may be available in multiple countries and regions. Core document processing remains on your device. Apple may process purchase information in accordance with its policies and applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or platform rules. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date above.
