A little help
Your next scene
starts here.
Save the artwork you love. Make it your wallpaper. Here’s how to get the most out of FoldTales.
FoldTales is a paid wallpaper collection, designed first for iPhone Duo. Individual scenes also work on other supported iPhones. No subscription, ads, or account.
Common questions
How do I set a wallpaper?
Open a theme, preview the Outer and Inner scenes, and choose a Lock Screen or Home Screen image. Tap Save to Photos. In iPhone Settings, open Wallpaper, choose Add New Wallpaper, then select the saved image from Photos. Review the crop before applying it.
FoldTales saves images; it does not change your system wallpaper automatically.
Why are there four images in a theme?
Each theme offers Outer and Inner artwork with Lock Screen and Home Screen options. Home versions are softer tonal treatments of the matching artwork. These are choices, not four independently assigned system wallpapers. iOS uses one Lock Screen wallpaper and one Home Screen wallpaper across iPhone Duo.
Will the installed wallpaper move when I unfold?
No. The reveal is an interactive preview inside FoldTales. Saved wallpapers are still images; the app does not animate your installed wallpaper or automatically switch it when the device changes pose.
Can I use FoldTales on a regular iPhone?
Yes, on supported iPhones. Choose either scene as a standalone wallpaper. iOS may crop it to your screen, so check the positioning in the wallpaper editor before applying it.
What if saving to Photos fails?
FoldTales asks for add-only Photos access when you explicitly save. If access was denied, open iPhone Settings, find FoldTales, and review its Photos permission. The location and wording can vary by iOS version. Also check available storage, then return to the app and try again.
FoldTales does not request access to read your existing photo library.
What if a downloaded image is missing or damaged?
Use the download verification and recovery options in FoldTales Settings. Where a download source is available, retry with an internet connection. Removing app downloads does not delete images already saved to Photos.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles App Store payments and refunds. Visit Apple’s refund request page and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Eligibility is determined by Apple.
