1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Focused ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Focused for personal study planning, exam preparation, and productivity purposes, subject to these Terms.

You May:

• Create study goals, exams, subjects, daily tasks, and D-Day plans
• Track focus sessions, study history, progress, and statistics
• Save wrong-answer review items and attach supported images
• Use widgets and Live Activities where supported by your device and iOS version
• Use camera, photo, microphone, and speech recognition features after granting permission
• Purchase Focused Pro to unlock additional limits and features

You May NOT:

• Copy, modify, distribute, resell, or sublicense the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
• Use the App for illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing purposes
• Use the App to store or distribute content that violates the rights of others
• Attempt to bypass purchase restrictions, feature limits, or entitlement checks
• Interfere with the App, App Store purchase systems, RevenueCat, or related services

3. Description of Service

Focused is a study planner designed to help students turn exam goals into daily study actions. The App provides:

• Study Planning: Create exam goals, subjects, D-Day plans, and daily study tasks
• Focus Timer: Start and save focused study sessions
• Exam Tracking: Track countdowns, subject progress, and planned study time
• Wrong-Answer Review: Save mistakes and revisit them through a review queue
• Statistics: View study history, subject distribution, and progress insights
• Widgets and Live Activities: View study progress and timer information where supported
• Focused Pro: Unlock higher limits and additional access to advanced planning, review, stats, themes, and widgets

4. No Account Required

Focused does not require account registration:

• No email address, password, name, or phone number is required to use the App
• Your study plans, subjects, sessions, wrong-answer items, and settings are primarily stored locally on your device
• If you uninstall the App, locally stored App data may be deleted from your device
• Purchase restoration is handled through Apple App Store and RevenueCat purchase records

5. Study Content and Local Data

5.1 Study Plans and Progress

• Focused may generate plans, reminders, progress estimates, and risk indicators based on information you enter
• These outputs are productivity aids only and do not guarantee academic results, exam success, or completion of study goals
• You are responsible for reviewing and adjusting your plans to match your real schedule, health, school requirements, and exam needs

5.2 Photos, Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition

• Focused may request Camera permission to capture wrong-answer images or study materials
• Focused may request Photo Library permission to attach selected images to review notes or save share cards
• Focused may request Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions for recording and transcription features
• You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings
• If permission is denied, related features may not work
• Focused does not claim ownership of your photos, recordings, transcripts, notes, or study content

6. Focused Pro and In-App Purchases

Focused may offer paid in-app purchases, including subscriptions and a lifetime purchase option, under the name Focused Pro.

6.1 Purchase Processing

• All in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
• RevenueCat may be used to manage purchase entitlements and restore access
• We do not directly collect or store your payment card information
• Your purchase is subject to Apple's App Store terms and policies

6.2 Subscriptions

• Focused Pro may be offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in your Apple App Store account settings before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings
• Prices, trial availability, and subscription options may vary by country or region

6.3 Lifetime Access

• "Lifetime" means access to the paid Focused Pro features for the lifetime of the App as offered and supported by us
• Lifetime access does not guarantee that every current feature will remain unchanged forever
• We may modify, improve, remove, or replace features over time
• We may need to change functionality due to iOS, App Store, RevenueCat, device capability, or third-party service changes

6.4 Refunds

• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store refund policies
• To request a refund, use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com service or App Store support
• We do not control Apple's refund decision process

7. Free Limits and Feature Availability

The free version of Focused may include limits on subjects, exam goals, wrong-answer review items, scan or recording usage, statistics range, themes, widgets, or advanced planning features.

• Free limits may change over time
• Focused Pro may remove or raise certain limits
• Some features may depend on device capability, iOS version, permissions, local storage, and App Store availability
• We do not guarantee that generated plans, statistics, OCR, speech recognition, or progress estimates will be complete or perfectly accurate

8. Ownership of Content

You retain ownership of your study plans, subjects, notes, images, recordings, transcripts, wrong-answer items, and other content you create or save using Focused.

• We do not claim ownership of your study content
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save or use the content you add to the App
• You are responsible for complying with copyright, privacy, school, exam, and other applicable rules or laws

9. Privacy and Data Storage

Focused is designed to be local-first. Your study plans, study sessions, subjects, wrong-answer review items, settings, and related data are generally stored on your device.

• No Account Required: Focused does not require personal account registration
• Local Storage: Study data is stored locally on your device
• Permissions: Camera, Photo Library, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Notifications, and Live Activity features require user permission or system support
• Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase and entitlement data

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Focused for:

• Any illegal activity or purpose
• Saving, organizing, or distributing content that infringes another person's rights
• Harassment, abuse, fraud, or harmful activity
• Attempting to bypass purchase restrictions or App Store payment systems
• Attempting to compromise the App, RevenueCat, Apple purchase systems, or any related service
• Any use that violates applicable laws, regulations, school rules, exam rules, or third-party terms

11. Third-Party Services

Focused may interact with third-party services and Apple system services:

• Apple App Store: In-app purchase processing and refund handling
• RevenueCat: Purchase entitlement management and purchase restoration
• Apple Camera and Photo Library: Image capture, image selection, and saving selected exports
• Apple Speech Recognition and Microphone: Recording and transcription features where used
• Apple WidgetKit and ActivityKit: Widgets, Lock Screen, and Live Activity features where supported
• Apple Notifications: Study reminders and timer-related notifications where enabled

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, outages, or availability.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Focused is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Academic performance, exam results, or study goal completion
• Accuracy of plans, statistics, progress estimates, OCR, speech recognition, or review schedules
• Compatibility with all future iOS versions or device configurations
• Preservation of local data if the App is deleted, device storage fails, or iOS removes app data

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, academic loss, or exam-related outcomes
• We are not liable for errors caused by iOS, device permissions, local storage, App Store purchase systems, RevenueCat, or third-party services
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or USD $10, whichever is greater

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Posting the updated Terms at this URL

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, replace, or remove any part of the App at any time, including free features, paid features, limits, UI, supported languages, widgets, Live Activities, or integrations.

• Feature availability may change due to product decisions, iOS changes, App Store policy changes, RevenueCat changes, or technical limitations
• We may update the App to improve performance, security, usability, or compliance
• We are not obligated to maintain every feature in its current form forever

16. Termination

You may stop using Focused at any time by deleting the App from your device.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App or its paid features if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent purchase activity
• Attempt to bypass App Store payments or entitlement checks
• Use the App for illegal or harmful purposes

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Korea, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
