Welcome to QuickCutPro. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Personal Data We Collect

QuickCutPro collects minimal personal data necessary for app functionality:

• Photo Library Access: We access your photos ONLY when you explicitly select an image to edit. Selected images are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• iCloud Data (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your edited projects and custom templates are stored in your personal iCloud account. We do NOT have access to your iCloud data.

2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect or store:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number) - unless you subscribe
• Location data
• Contacts
• Any data that can directly identify you beyond purchase history

2.3 In-App Purchase Data

If you subscribe to QuickCutPro Premium:

• Apple manages all transactions through the App Store
• We receive ONLY anonymized purchase receipts to verify your subscription status
• Payment information (credit card, Apple ID) is managed exclusively by Apple, not us
• We store your subscription status locally on your device

2.4 Data Collected by Third Parties (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display rewarded advertisements for free users. AdMob may collect:

2.5 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored ONLY on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Edited Projects: Your image editing sessions, including backgrounds, filters, text, and stickers
• Custom Templates: Templates you create and save
• App Preferences: Settings like haptic feedback, tutorial completion status
• Premium Status: Your subscription verification receipt
• Ad Reward Credits: Number of free watermark removal credits earned from watching ads

Note: This data remains entirely on your device unless you enable iCloud sync, in which case it syncs to YOUR iCloud account (not our servers).

3. How We Use Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Photo Library Access: To let you select and edit images
• iCloud Storage: To sync your projects across your devices (optional, user-controlled)
• Subscription Verification: To verify your Premium subscription status and enable premium features
• Ad Credits: To track your earned credits from watching rewarded ads

We do NOT:

• Analyze your photos
• Upload your images to any server
• Share your data with third parties (except Apple for payments and AdMob for ads)
• Use your data for marketing purposes

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. The only third-party services we use are:

• Apple App Store: For subscription management and payment processing
• Apple iCloud: For optional cloud sync (stored in YOUR iCloud account)
• Google AdMob: For advertisement serving to free users (see Section 2.4)

5. Children's Privacy

QuickCutPro is suitable for ages 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since our app:

• Does not require personal information to use
• Processes images locally on device
• Uses general-audience ads from AdMob
• Subscription is managed through parental Apple ID

It is safe for children to use under parental guidance.

6. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data stored locally through Settings → Data Management
• Delete: Delete all local app data by uninstalling the app or using Settings → Reset Data
• Delete iCloud Data: Settings → iCloud Sync → Reset Sync (deletes cloud data)
• Cancel Subscription: Manage through App Store → Subscriptions → Cancel
• Opt-out of Ad Tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable

7. Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• All image processing happens locally on your device
• Images are NEVER uploaded to external servers
• iCloud data is encrypted by Apple using industry-standard encryption
• Subscription verification uses Apple's secure StoreKit 2 framework
• We do not store your payment information (handled by Apple)

We recommend:

• Using a device passcode or Face ID/Touch ID
• Keeping your iOS system up to date
• Using a strong iCloud password with two-factor authentication

8. Premium Subscription

QuickCutPro offers optional premium subscriptions:

• Monthly: ₩2,900/month - Auto-renewing
• Yearly: ₩19,900/year - Auto-renewing (43% discount)
• Lifetime: ₩29,900 - One-time purchase

Subscription Terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through App Store → Account → Subscriptions
• No refunds for the current subscription period
• Free trial (if offered) ends upon subscription purchase

9. Rewarded Ads

Free users can watch rewarded ads to earn credits:

• 1 ad = 1 credit = Export 1 image without watermark
• Credits are stored locally on your device
• Credits do not expire
• Ads are served by Google AdMob (see Section 2.4)
• Watching ads is completely optional

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Posting the new privacy policy on this page
• Providing an in-app notification for significant changes

We encourage you to review this privacy policy periodically.
