1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lightprint ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Lightprint Does

Lightprint helps photographers and video creators estimate exposure and white balance, save reusable Light Recipes, compare saved recipes against live readings, and export recipe cards or CSV files.

Measurement values may vary depending on iPhone model, camera behavior, lighting conditions, subject reflectance, calibration, white balance stability, and user setup.

3. No Professional or Certified Measurement

You agree that Lightprint is provided for creative, reference, and workflow purposes only. You must not rely on the App for:

• Legal, industrial, workplace safety, medical, scientific, or regulatory light measurement
• Certified lux readings or compliance documentation
• Professional color science, spectral analysis, CRI, TLCI, SSI, or flash metering
• Any situation where inaccurate readings could cause injury, property damage, financial loss, or legal consequences

4. Free and Pro Features

Lightprint may offer free features and paid Pro features.

• Free: Light measurement, exposure and white balance estimates, and storage of up to 5 Light Recipes
• Pro: One-time lifetime unlock for unlimited recipes, Match Score, PNG recipe exports, project presets, video notes, correction profiles, and CSV export

Feature availability may change over time as the App is improved, provided that existing paid access will not be intentionally removed without a reasonable replacement or legal/business necessity.

5. Purchases, Restore, and Refunds

• Lightprint Pro is sold as a one-time in-app purchase unless otherwise stated in the App Store listing.
• Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
• Purchase entitlement management may be handled through RevenueCat.
• You can restore eligible purchases using the same Apple ID, subject to Apple's rules and technical availability.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's App Store policies. We do not directly process App Store refunds.

6. Your Content and Local Data

You are responsible for the recipes, notes, labels, thumbnails, and exported files you create with the App. Lightprint stores core app data locally on your device and does not operate a cloud sync service.

You are responsible for backing up any exported files or important records. Uninstalling the App may delete locally stored recipes, presets, thumbnails, and settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes
• Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the App except as permitted by law
• Attempt to bypass purchase restrictions or entitlement checks
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or interfere with App Store, Apple, RevenueCat, or device systems

8. Intellectual Property

Lightprint, including its design, software, text, graphics, branding, and related materials, is owned by Prizm or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or professional creative workflow purposes.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services, including Apple App Store and RevenueCat, for purchase processing, receipt validation, and entitlement management. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We aim to keep the App useful and stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or permanent support for every operating system version.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that readings will be accurate, complete, stable, or suitable for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prizm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, failed shoots, production delays, inaccurate measurements, or reliance on App outputs.

13. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how Lightprint handles local data, camera permission, purchases, and third-party services.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to features if required by law, App Store policy, security concerns, or misuse of the App.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting the revised Terms at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
