Bedside Audio is a private night-sound recording and reference tool. It is not a medical device, sleep study, diagnostic service, emergency monitor, or substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional. Results may contain missed detections or sounds that are not snoring.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bedside Audio ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Bedside Audio records sound during an active night session, analyzes audio locally on your iPhone, identifies snore-like moments, prepares selected clips for replay and review, and presents summaries, scores, history, and pattern comparisons.
Results may vary depending on iPhone model, microphone condition, device placement, distance from the sleeper, bedding, room acoustics, background noise, speech, movement, other people, recording duration, and software classification limits.
You agree that Bedside Audio is provided for personal information and reference purposes only. You must not rely on the App for:
If you have concerns about breathing, severe snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, choking during sleep, or another health issue, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
The App classifies sound patterns and does not know with certainty who or what produced a sound. Speech, coughing, movement, bedding noise, fans, pets, partners, media playback, and other environmental sounds may be included, excluded, or classified incorrectly. Snoring may also be missed. Scores, counts, durations, intensity values, selected clips, and trends are estimates and may change as the App is improved.
You are responsible for listening to relevant clips and applying your own judgment. A high, low, or changing score does not establish a medical condition or guarantee sleep quality, health, or safety.
Bedside Audio may offer limited free access and paid lifetime features.
Exact feature availability is shown in the App and may change over time as the App is improved. We will not intentionally remove existing paid access without a reasonable replacement or a legal, technical, security, App Store, or business necessity.
You are responsible for recordings, review choices, labels, notes, settings, and other content created or stored through the App. Bedside Audio stores core night data locally on your device and does not operate a cloud sync or backup service.
Under the current selected-clips storage mode, temporary source recordings and processing chunks are deleted after analysis while selected clips and result data remain locally. You are responsible for preserving any information you consider important. Deleting a night, clearing history, uninstalling the App, replacing or losing the device, storage cleanup, file corruption, or software failure may permanently remove local data.
Night audio may capture partners, family members, children, visitors, or other people nearby. Recording and consent laws vary by location. You are solely responsible for providing notice, obtaining consent, and using the App lawfully.

Bedside Audio, including its design, software, text, graphics, branding, and related materials, is owned by Prizm or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store rules.
The App may rely on third-party services, including Apple App Store and RevenueCat, for purchase processing, receipt validation, and entitlement management. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, delays, account restrictions, pricing or metadata errors, or other actions controlled by third parties.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We aim to keep the App useful and stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted recording, analysis, playback, purchase verification, compatibility with every device, permanent support for every operating system version, or recovery of local data.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that recordings, detections, classifications, scores, trends, selected clips, purchase services, or other outputs will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prizm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost recordings, device storage loss, missed detections, false detections, inaccurate scores, delayed results, interrupted sleep, purchase-service issues, medical decisions, or reliance on App outputs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how Bedside Audio handles local audio, result data, microphone permission, purchases, and third-party services.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to features if required by law, App Store policy, security concerns, third-party service restrictions, or misuse of the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting the revised Terms at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
