This Privacy Policy explains how Bedside Audio ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information. Bedside Audio is an iPhone app that records night sound, identifies snore-like moments, creates selected local audio clips, and presents summaries and trends. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect on Our Servers

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
• Night recordings, selected audio clips, waveform data, sleep summaries, scores, labels, or review choices
• HealthKit data, clinical health records, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or videos
• Browsing history, advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or advertising network data
• Analytics, behavioral tracking, or third-party crash reporting data

2.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

2.3 Data Processed by Third-Party Services

We do not use advertising networks, third-party analytics, behavioral tracking SDKs, or third-party crash reporting tools. RevenueCat does not receive your night recordings or selected audio clips from the App.

3. How We Use Information

• Recording and analysis: Audio is recorded and analyzed on-device to identify snore-like sound patterns.
• Selected clips: The App creates local clips for replay and review. Temporary source recordings are deleted after local processing under the current selected-clips storage mode.
• Results and trends: Local summaries and reviewed classifications are used to show your history and comparisons on the device.
• Purchases: Apple processes payment, and RevenueCat verifies whether your lifetime entitlement is active.

4. Permissions We Request

The microphone is used only while an App recording session is active. Background audio capability allows an active recording to continue when the iPhone is locked or the App moves to the background. Bedside Audio does not request contacts, precise location, advertising tracking, camera, photos, or HealthKit permissions.

5. Audio Privacy and Other People

Night recording may incidentally capture voices or sounds from partners, family members, children, visitors, or other people nearby. You are responsible for using the App only where recording is lawful and for obtaining any notice or consent required in your location. Do not use Bedside Audio to secretly record conversations or for surveillance. The App is designed for private night-sound review, not general-purpose voice recording.

6. In-App Purchases

Bedside Audio lifetime access is available as a one-time purchase:

• Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat
• We do not receive your payment card information or Apple Account password
• RevenueCat helps verify and restore your lifetime entitlement
• You can restore purchases using the same Apple Account, subject to Apple's App Store rules
• This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Night results and selected clips: Stored locally until you delete a night, clear your records, or uninstall the App
• Temporary source recordings: Deleted after selected clips are prepared under the current selected-clips storage mode
• Preferences: Stored locally until changed, reset, or removed with the App
• Purchase status: Stored locally and can be restored through Apple and RevenueCat

You can delete individual nights or clear local history using controls in the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored app data according to iOS behavior. Purchase records may remain with Apple and RevenueCat as needed for purchase restoration, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

8. Data Security

Core recordings and results remain within the App's local iOS storage and benefit from iOS device security. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Protect your iPhone with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, keep iOS updated, and do not share an unlocked device with people who should not access your recordings.

9. Children's Privacy

Bedside Audio is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children on our servers. The App does not include public profiles, chat, advertising, or user-generated content sharing through our servers. Because local recording can incidentally capture people nearby, including children, the person operating the App is responsible for appropriate consent and lawful use.

10. Your Rights and Choices

• Delete individual nights or clear your local history inside the App
• Uninstall the App to remove locally stored app data according to iOS behavior
• Control microphone permission in iOS Settings
• Stop an active recording at any time
• Contact us with privacy questions
• Refer to Apple and RevenueCat for data they process as independent third-party services

11. International Users

Bedside Audio may be available worldwide. Core audio and result data is processed locally on your device. Purchase processing may involve Apple and RevenueCat systems in their respective regions. Recording and consent laws vary by country and region, and you are responsible for complying with laws that apply where you use the App.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
